The
Children’s Museum/Museo de los Niños San Diego is undertaking its
greatest transformation since its founding over 24 years ago. By
building a new state-of-the-art facility and expanding programming, we
are reshaping the role and identity of the Museum as a premier family
attraction and community resource.
The inspiring Rob Wellington Quigley
design of the new facility will allow the Museum to present its
programs and display its exhibits in exciting new ways that will
provide visitors with an enriching experience.
The new Museum will be located in the heart of the Marina District in downtown San Diego, just blocks from Petco Park, Horton Plaza, the Gaslamp Quarter, and the Convention Center. The new building will share the block with Pinnacle’s Museum Tower condominiums. To view the architectural renderings.
While we await completion of our new facility, The Muse,
we are currently closed to the public. The Museum Administrative
offices and Museum Charter School remain open and are temporarily
